The second update to arrive since Rennsport was released as a full priced game on November 10th, 2025, Rennsport Patch 1.1.5 is now available to download. It focuses on fixes and solutions based on community feedback, including improving the rear view mirror, letting you spectate or exit online races without waiting for everyone to finish, and some unrealistic AI lap times.
Other issues which should be solved include the automatic gears always causing you to have a jump start, and a black box appearing on your HUD if you turn off the rear view mirror.
Another big change is the cost of liveries, which were originally set between R$200 and R$600. These will now change to either be R$100 or R$150. Which is a significant drop in price, and if you previous bought something under the previous pricing model, you’ll get a full refund along with keeping the livery, which is a nice move.

It’s safe to say Rennsport has launched to a fairly mixed response since it switched from a free-to-play sim to a paid product for PC and consoles. The livery store was an obvious target for complaints, and the lower standard pricing might make it more acceptable. With a currency pack costing from £3.99 for R$500, it means a normal livery costs the equivalent of 79.8p, which is a fair bit cheaper than before. Although it’s still a lot more than the typical price of a race replica livery in RaceRoom, for example.
It’s not impossible for Teyon and Competition Company to turn things around in the future, so it will be interesting to see what future updates may bring to Rennsport.
