Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games recently offered a free weekend of racing on Assetto Corsa Competizione via Steam, along with a very short sale. But if you missed it, you can still get an Assetto Corsa Competizione discount via Humble Bundle.
The official title of the GT World Challenge (formerly Blancpain GT Series) is a great way to experience GT3 sim racing. So if you forgot about the free weekend, or thought you had longer to benefit from the original discount, it’s great to discover there are some more days to save on ACC via the Humble Bundle discount.
You have until June 8th 2020 to pick up Assetto Corsa Competizione for 40% off the normal price, which makes it £20.99. And you also get a £1.75 wallet credit towards other Humble Bundle purchases. The same offer ran earlier in May, before the free weekend, which seemd a little odd, so it’s great that it’s now returned when racers have had a chance to try out ACC for themselves.
The credit is handy, as the original Assetto Corsa is also on sale at £3.87 (75% off) as part of a 505 Games bundle sale. And lots of the official Assetto Corsa DLC is also 75% off, meaning you can pick up the Ready to Race pack for £1.44, the Japanese Pack for 52p or the Dream packs for £1.29.
Assetto Corsa Competizione will usually cost you £34.99. The Intercontinental GT Pack DLC is also listed on Humble Bundle at the normal price of £12.49, but with £1.04 wallet credit. So you still get a bit of a saving when you want to buy something else…
And the other good thing is that whenever you purchase through Humble Bundle, up to 20% of the listed price goes towards charity (after admin fees, taxes etc).
So the Assetto Corsa Competizione discount via Humble Bundle might help out anyone who missed the Steam sale, and also means some money goes to charity. Obviously this is for the PC version of the game, as the console versions will arrive at the end of this month (and pre-ordering from Game or Amazon gets you the Intercontinental DLC for free for the Xbox One and PS4 editions)
