If you’ve got an interest in sim racing, then working for one of the main developers could be a dream career move. And there are some opportunities right now as Reiza Studios advertise several remote job openings.
The developers of the Automobilista series have posted a lit of positions for contracted remote work, both full and part-time. There are general requirements including a minimum availability of at least 20 horus per week, good written English and team working skills, and you get bonus points for experience with SVN, Microsoft Teams and working on racing games or mod projects, a passion for sim racing games, and fluency in Brazilian Portuguese.
The roles currently listed are:
- Software Engineer
- Systems & IT Manager
- Game Producer
- Audio Designer
- 3D Environment Artist
- Texture Artist
- 3D Vehicle Artist
- Community Manager
Obviously each of the roles has further details, which you should look at in detail before applying. For example, texture artist applicants need experience in Substance Designer/Photoshop, PBR and non-PBR workflow and a good eye for context-based texturing. So it’s not a good idea to apply if you’ve only ever messed around in MS Paint for 30 minutes.

With recent news of staff cuts and entire development studios on redundancy notice, it’s nice to share some positive news about a developer actively recruiting.
And it seems like a fun time to be working with Reiza Studios. Since launch, the sim has been constantly updated, with the most recent DLC released being the Historical Endurance Packs.
You can find all the details of the requirements, responsibilities and bonus points for each role via the Reiza Studios forum before applying by sending a resume, brief intro and your portfolio/relevant community management examples.
